TANIT Connect Bootcamp Empowers Tunisian Civil Society with Innovation and Capacity Building

From February 17-20, 2025, Leaders International successfully held the TANIT Connect Bootcamp, in collaboration with Museum Lab and with the generous support of the European Union. This dynamic event, part of the TANIT project, was designed to empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), stimulate innovative collaboration, and foster stronger networking connections across Tunisia.

The Bootcamp brought together 86 enthusiastic participants from 30 diverse CSOs, showcasing a strong female representation (60%) and significant youth involvement (30% aged 18-35). Attendees actively engaged in workshops focusing on three core areas: digital marketing and artificial intelligence (AI), economic modeling and financial planning, and collaborative networking.

Throughout the event, participants benefited from targeted training sessions led by prominent experts. These sessions empowered CSOs to creatively use AI tools to develop innovative tourism products and strengthened their skills in financial sustainability through the Business Model Canvas (BMC).

In addition, participants engaged in enriching discussions around sustainable waste management practices and strategic advocacy and lobbying to promote a favorable regulatory environment for social and solidarity economy initiatives.

Importantly, the TANIT Connect Bootcamp marked the launch of the TANIT CSOs network, creating lasting collaborative relationships between CSOs nationwide. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants underscores the Bootcamp’s success in immediately enhancing their operational capabilities and long-term organizational sustainability.

Looking forward, Leaders International will continue to support participating CSOs through regional expert-led sessions to sustain and build upon the momentum achieved during the Bootcamp.
