JADE: Jordanian Action for the Development of Enterprises

JADE created a systemic change in the enterprise ecosystem by supporting the development of an inclusive and innovative private sector that ultimately led to economic growth and development across Jordan.

It supported capacity-building initiatives to help portfolio companies better understand their industry and connect to possible partners, experts, and customers around the world.

The project showed remarkable improvement in the technical and business capacity of SMEs and startups in the sectors of tourism, plastics and rubber, electronics, cosmetics and chemicals, innovative industries, and others. Around 100 SMEs were able to increase their revenues and exports, and about 60 startups grew and received investments.

Furthermore, JADE increased the capacity of 5 incubators to provide enhanced services to entrepreneurs. It also connected incubators and other business associations in different sectors with around 30 business development service providers through the voucher system of BOOST.
