Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA)

SEA supported social enterprises that can create an impact in their communities and engage youth at all levels of society to ensure a prosperous future. The project was able to engage a vast number of youth and women in marginalised communities, especially those who had the potential to develop social enterprises with a positive impact on the community, and the economy as a whole. 

Leaders International has developed a sustainable pipeline of young activists and entrepreneurs by strengthening the capacity of institutions that can provide top-quality support services to social enterprises and accelerate their growth at all stages. Around 40% of the involved enterprises were able to access additional financing, and at least 40% became fully independent during the initial acceleration period.
