West Bank Tech Boost: Strengthening the Palestinian Tech Eco System
The West Bank Tech Boost project’s mission is to strengthen the Palestinian tech ecosystem by developing the internationalization potential of tech and tech-enabled startups in the West Bank.
Palestinian startups often face major challenges in accessing global markets, including limited readiness and a lack of robust support from local incubators. To address these barriers, West Bank Tech Boost focuses on three core objectives:
- Enhancing the market access capabilities of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem
- Ensuring that technology and tech-enabled startups in the West Bank are better positioned to access new markets,
- Building international connections that attract investment and open new market opportunities
Project activities will range from evaluating existing incubators and delivering targeted capacity-building initiatives to running a global-focused accelerator and offering mentorship and subgrants.
Expected outcomes include a stronger, more globally connected incubation ecosystem, startups that are better prepared to scale internationally, and increased access to international markets and investment opportunities. Ultimately, West Bank Tech Boost aims to position Palestinian startups for long-term success on the global stage, driving economic opportunity and innovation throughout the region.
